The goal of Torpedo Trump is to make the opposition to Trump more robust, effective and successful.   We’re honored to be helped by AI Jeffrey Epstein, Trump’s “best buddy for years.”

Epstein’s criminal exploitation of young girls is strikingly similar to Trump’s harassment of American women, most notably Lady Liberty and Lady Justice.  “Trumpstein” treated  women with the utmost contempt and disrespect.

Epstein’s crime spree ended in 2019 but Trump’s continues with  continuing crimes against American Democracy.  If America is to be saved from a predatory president he will need to be countered with our most effective strategies and tactics.  Ridicule and outrage are not enough.

There are thousands of places on the Internet you can express your revulsion at the damage Trump and his acolytes are doing to the American people and the  U.S. government. Some tactics to constraint Trump, like a Constitutional amendment or impeachment, are dead ends.  Other actions we might take can be far more potent. 

Three examples:

First, the Democratic members of the Texas state legislature are on the lam, again, trying to block a redistricting plan that is part all out war against Democrats nationwide.  The purpose of this perfidy is to get five more House seats and retain control of the Congress. We turned Georgia around with a boycott in 2021 and we can do the same now. Give Houston a new problem by refusing to fly on American Airlines and Southwest.

Second, we are not likely to be able to gain a majority in the Senate unless Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear runs to replace Mitch McConnell.  But Beshear isn’t interested, instead he plans to run for president.  Sign our petition to urge him to run.  After that he can run with the support of every Democrat in the U.S. Read more in Five Ways to Leave Your Dictator in Opposition.

Third, please sign a petition to pledge to turn out for a mammoth protest march in DC. Protests in state capitals are outstanding, but not a substitute for a march on Washington. If you’ll promise to come to DC we’ll promise you’ll get an invitation. We will collaborate to bring a huge protest to pass.  It is our most difficult, ambious and time-consuming  tactic, but also our most potent.

Read, appreciate and post to social media sites about your disgust and fear of Trump’s unlawful activities.  Comfort one another.  But posting comments online is a uniquely impotent group exercise.  It is personal expression and therapy.  It is rarely effective political action.  Turning firmly held beliefs into mass action is difficult, but as with the ant-war, Civil Rights and women’s movements it’s possible. When assemble together in person we can radically change political dynamics.  The anti-Trump majority is absolutely massive.  Let’s show everyone that the country stands with us.
