Since Trump began dismantling the U.S. government we have yet not had a major protest against Trump here in DC.  If YOU will support and publi-cize the Internet’s October Surprise, we will have one.  We have a permit from the National Parks Service for LaFayette Park.  It will be a fixed loca-tion, no march.  If you have been waiting for an invitation to come to DC to challenge Trump, this is it.

In all cultures and all epochs this is how tyrants are toppled. Only large groups of citizens protesting in the capital can challenge an unlawful re-gime.  This will be peaceful and non-violent.  Torpedo Trump’s goal is to make the resistance a more effective opposition and help it evolve into a popular movement.

The event is not secret and will be openly publicized.  But as it is being organized almost entirely online it may come as a surprise to some.  We seeks as our collaborators the anti-Trump groups on Facebook, Insta-gram , X and Bluesky, on Opposition Substacks, YouTube channels, pod-casts, blogs, Reddit and everywhere online.  We will be non-hierarchical, inclusive and respectful of all races, genders, ethnicities and organiza-tions.

If the event is disrupted by police and soldiers, then the true motivation of Trump’s unwarranted occupation of DC will be revealed.  There being no crime wave in DC, its real purpose is to stifle protest and dissent. Trump’s crimes must not go unchallenged. 

Organizing, discussing and posting online is only of consequence if we can get you to put down the mouse and get out of the house.  This mobi-lization is inspired by the hastily organized anti-war demonstrations.  The first attempt brought tens of thousands of participants and the second got more than half a million.  Those protests helped turn Americans against the war.
